SARB Economics Bursary 2025/2026

0

We are pleased to announce that the application for the 2026 SARB Economics Bursary is now open.

The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) invites future economists who are entering their first year of undergraduate studies in the 2025 academic year to apply for our prestigious external bursary program.

The SARB contributes to the economic prosperity of all South Africans by ensuring price stability and financial stability. It regulates the South African financial sector, oversees the design and distribution of banknotes and coins, manages interest rates, and sets the cash reserve requirement for banks. Above all, it ensures the stability of the banking sector and the wider financial system.
