Gold One Modder East Operation, a prominent gold mine located approximately 30kms East of Johannesburg in Springs, Gauteng Province, announces its learnership opportunities for the Financial Year 2024. These opportunities present a chance for both internal and external candidates to enhance their engineering skills and knowledge in a real-world mining environment.
Gold One Learnership Eligibility
Position: Pupil Engineer
Ref no: IEINT01-09-23
Fields of Specialization:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
Requirements:
- Completed Matric and an Engineering qualification, either a Diploma or Degree in relevant disciplines.
- Strong analytical abilities and eagerness to learn.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotation shifts.
- Team player.
- Ability to work in underground conditions.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Established background in Engineering.
- Proof of residence.
- South African Citizenship.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
- Absence of any criminal record.
- Medical clearance to work.
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Residence in Springs, Benoni, Brakpan, or Nigel (as part of Gold One’s community development initiative).
Gold One Learnership Application Procedure
Applicants must adhere to the following steps:
