The application for the Hitachi Kenkijin Bursary for the academic year 2024 is now open by Hitachi Kenkijin for all South Africans in South Africa.
Hitachi Kenkijin hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2023 Bursary. Hitachi Kenkijin has set-up a tertiary bursary fund to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to the finance sector. It is intended for tertiary students at the undergraduate level. Hitachi Kenkijin has allocated a bursary fund specifically for the following fields below.
HITACHI KENKIJIN BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Eligible courses are:
- Scholars: Currently in Grade 12 with good academic results so far, or scholars who have completed Grade 12 with an average 70% pass rate
- Students: New (first-year) and current (second-year to post-graduate) students registered with a higher education institution
- Current students must have an average pass rate of 70% in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Bachelor of Science / BCom Accounting / Bachelor of Commerce
- Artisans and students studying towards becoming artisans: including Diesel Mechanics, Auto-electricians, and Millwrights
Candidate Requirements
- South African citizens
- Women and youth aged between 16 – 35
- Able to demonstrate financial need

- Your certified ID document.
- Your final Grade 11 results, stamped by your school or, if you have completed Grade 12, a certified copy of your Grade 12 certificate.
