You NEED the following to register:

  • unique email address
  • City and site where you want to write
  • NBT requirements from the institutions where you plan to apply
  • Date when you want to write (allow 4 weeks for the institution(s) to which you have applied to receive your results. You can access your results on our website after 5 weeks.)

Take note of the following:

The NBT Project does not determine which test you must write nor the deadline for submitting results. Most institutions in South Africa post their requirements on their website and in their prospectus.

The username and EasyPay number assigned to you during registration is used to:

  • Complete the registration process if you did not finish
  • Correct personal information
  • Request a change to test date or site
  • Verify payment so that your results may be released

Registration is date- and venue-specific. If you miss your scheduled test, you must re-register and pay again. You will be able to access your results only if you have paid for any tests for which you were registered.

Two days before the test for which you have registered, you will receive a text message and an email confirming your test venue.

The registration process in the platform must be done according to the dates specified by CETAP where you started the NBT application.

    • Introduce a new password in both text fields, and click on Send to generate your new password.
  3. You will need to register your photo for identity validation. You can see some instructions and recommendations displayed on the screen. The first time you log in to the platform, the browser will ask you to allow the webcam use, click the button “Allow” to continue the registration process.
  4. Once the use of webcam is allowed, you will see your face in the photo capture frame. Follow the guidelines to complete this process successfully. It is also recommended to take the picture in the same place where you will be doing the test.
  5. You have to take two photos. Click on “Take Photo” to take the first one, then click on it again to take the second one. Please note that the second photo must be of your ID.
