Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is eager to announce an outstanding opportunity for the role of Unemployed Learner in Packaging within our Manufacturing & Technical department. We are inviting promising and talented individuals from South Africa, particularly the Elgin/Grabouw region in the Western Cape, to apply for this learnership. This opportunity is part of our commitment to nurturing talent and providing skills development within the food and beverage packaging industry.
Benefits of the Learnership Program
Participants in the Learnership program will be able to gain substantial experience and knowledge in bottling processes and procedures, safety and housekeeping standards, quality tests and specifications, and food handling practices. Successful candidates will directly report to the Training Controller.
The primary purpose of this qualification is to contribute to the full development of the learner within the fast-moving consumer goods environment and the food and beverage packaging industry. By providing recognition, further mobility, and portability within these fields, learners will successfully complete the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, a NQF Level 3 Learnership.
Eligibility
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- Completed Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and Physical Sciences, both passed with a minimum score of 40%.
- Proficiency in two South African Languages with a minimum score of 40%.
- No previous completion of the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization.
Other Requirements
Further criteria for eligibility include:
- South African Citizenship.
- Employment Equity candidates are preferred.
- Candidates must have been unemployed at the time of appointment.
- Age bracket: 18-35 years.
- Willingness to commit for the 12-month duration of the learnership program.
