Palabora Mining Company (PMC), an industry leader in the Mining and Metals sector, is excited to offer Internship Opportunities for the upcoming year of 2023. We are extending this invitation to Ba-Phalaborwa communities, seeking candidates in possession of relevant degrees who wish to gain practical experience.
PMC is launching a 24-month Internship program, designed specifically for individuals from Ba-Phalaborwa communities. The program targets recent graduates with no relevant work experience and provides an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in a dynamic, industry-leading environment.

Eligibility
Prospective interns must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African Citizen and currently unemployed
- Must be in possession of a degree or B-Tech degree
- Must be between 18 – 35 years old with no criminal record
- Must have an excellent academic record

- Certified copy of full academic record and degree certificate
- Certified copy of matric certificate
- Certified copy of a South African ID & driver’s license
- Proof of residential address for Ba-Phalaborwa communities (e.g. Municipal letter or Tribal Authority letter, certified by a commissioner of Oaths)

Important Notes
- Please note this is an internship opportunity, and completion of the program does not guarantee a permanent position at PMC.

- Preference will be given to candidates from Ba-Phalaborwa Local Communities.
- Candidates with incomplete DMRE GCC Annexure E are also encouraged to apply.
