Rand Water is calling all bright and ambitious South African graduates to apply for our enriching Graduate Development Programmes. Spanning across diverse fields such as Project Management, Marketing/Graphic Design, and IT, our Graduate Development Programmes are meticulously crafted to harness your potential and kickstart your career journey.
As South Africa’s leading water utility company, Rand Water is committed to enhancing the capabilities of our nation’s young talents. We’re currently offering three distinct Graduate Development Programmes for ambitious individuals ready to take a giant leap into their professional careers. These programmes, located at our Rietvlei site in Glenvista, Gauteng, extend for 24 months, providing an immersive learning experience that bridges the gap between academia and the professional world.

Joining our Graduate Development Programmes will expose you to the real-world applications of your academic learnings. You will be given the chance to develop essential technical and professional competencies, gain an understanding of Rand Water’s significant contribution to the water sector, and enhance your communication skills in a supportive environment.
Eligibility Criteria
We invite applications from candidates who fulfill the following eligibility criteria for all three programmes:
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- They must fall under previously disadvantaged individuals (African, Coloured, Indian).
- Applicants should have a Matric and a suitable qualification within one of the specified fields of study for the respective program.
- Age limit: applicants should be under the age of 35, in line with the National Skills Development Strategy III.
- Applicants should not have participated in any other graduate programme.

- Certified copy of Matric Certificate AND latest academic record
- Certified copies of qualification
