SIBANYE-STILLWATER TRAIN DRIVER MW LEARNERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must have practical exposure to a railway environment.
- Possess a Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics (excluding Mathematics Literacy) and Science, both with a minimum of 40%.
- Alternatively, an N3 certificate in mathematics and engineering science is acceptable.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver’s licence is essential for the role.
- Candidates must successfully pass a security screening.
- Medical fitness is mandatory to execute tasks in specific business areas.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and aligning with programme objectives and tasks
- Completion of all development programme modules within stipulated timeframes.
- Address queries and concerns related to the programme effectively.
- Strict adherence to the company’s policies, procedures, legal, and safety requirements.
- Consistent work quality that meets standard specifications and training
- Active participation in SHE meetings and ‘on the job’ risk assessments.
- Recognition and proactive handling of hazardous situations impacting various jobs.
