TWK AGRI INSURANCE BROKER INTERNSHIP ROLES, APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities and Duties
- Gathering information from clients, assessing their insurance needs and risk profile
- Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients including scheduling and attending meetings and understanding the nature of clients’ businesses
- Foreseeing clients’ insurance needs, such as policy renewals
- Researching insurance companies’ policies and negotiating with underwriters to find the right product fit for the client’s needs
- Renewing and / or amending existing policies
- Assisting clients on risk placement and claims service
- Policy administration and record keeping
- Keeping up with industry changes and new developments
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- Computer literate
- Confidence in negotiation
- Interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills & accuracy or attention to detail
- Verbal, written communication and presentation skills (English and Afrikaans)
