Westfalia Fruit Estates, a leading company in the agricultural sector located in Modjadjiskloof, Limpopo, South Africa, is thrilled to announce a 12-month learnership opportunity for unemployed youth residing within the Mopani District. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about agriculture and eager to learn new skills.

Upon successful completion of the program, learners will be awarded a National Certificate: Plant Production at NQF Level 03. The learnership program will be conducted at our base in Modjadjiskloof, Tzaneen.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must:

  • Have completed Grade 12
  • Be unemployed youth aged between 18 and 35
  • Have not previously participated in an agriculture learnership
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be South African citizens with a valid ID document

Application Procedure

Interested individuals should send their applications to learnerships@westfaliafruit.co.za with the following attachments:

  • An application letter
  • A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • A certified copy of your Identity Document
  • A certified copy of your Matric certificate
  • Proof of residence, either a Municipal letter or a Tribal Authority letter, certified by a Commissioner of Oaths

Application Date

The deadline for applications is 14th July 2023. Please note that all certified documents should not be more than three months old. There is no standard application form, and your cover letter will serve as your application. We encourage individuals with disabilities to apply.

Additional Information

Please note that only shortlisted applicants will receive communication. If you do not hear a response by 25th July 2023, please consider your application unsuccessful. This learnership agreement is a fixed contract and does not guarantee employment at the end of the contract. Preference will be given to candidates with excellent academic records, and no late applications will be considered.
