This article contains information on how to gain access to the CPUT Blackboard Portal (https://myclassroom.cput.ac.za) also known as E-Learning Management System (LMS).

CPUT Blackboard

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) seeks to improve learning processes for its students. Therefore, it is pleased to announce the adoption of a Learning Management System (LMS), that would make it easy for students to attend classes online, get lecture notes, and submit assignments anywhere and anytime.

This E-learning platform is to help lecturers at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) upload their courses and course materials (ie. course outlines, lecture notes/PowerPoint presentations, recommended reading books/journals, videos, and forums) on the E-learning platform to enable students to access them for continuing academic work. A series of short video tutorials will be made available in the coming days to further assist our lecturers in uploading their courses.

The login process for CPUT Blackboard is straightforward, but it is important to follow the correct steps to ensure access to the platform. The login process requires students and faculty to enter their CPUT credentials to access their individual accounts on the platform. In the following sections, we will provide a more detailed explanation of how to access CPUT Blackboard, including the login process.
