DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE CAREER (VACANT) POSITIONS, ROLES, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. DIRECTOR: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Location: Provincial Office: Western Cape.
  • Salary: R1 162 200–R1 365 411 p.a. (inclusive)
  • Qualifications: Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in labour relations, human resource development, human resource management, industrial psychology, and organisational psychology.
  • Experience: 5 years at the middle or senior managerial level.
  • Key Skills: Strategic capability, financial management, people management, problem-solving, etc.
  • Key Areas: Human resource administration, employee health and wellness, performance management, etc.

2. COURT MANAGER (2 POSTS)

Eligibility:

  • Educational Requirements: Undergraduate National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Management, Law/Legal Studies or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in court management with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Specific Skills and Knowledge: Budgeting, financial management, strategic thinking, and problem solving, among others.
  • Miscellaneous: Valid driver’s licence.

  • Experience: Three years in security management at a supervisory level.
  • Specific Skills and Knowledge: Communication, computer literacy, and project management, among others.
  • Miscellaneous: Valid driver’s licence.
