In a determined effort to boost the small business sector and foster an environment of growth and innovation, the Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) is thrilled to unveil the 2023–2025 Graduate Internship Programme. This initiative focuses on bridging the gap between academic achievements and practical industry experiences, enabling graduates to be a part of the dynamic small business ecosystem of South Africa.

- Business Development Analyst

- Eligibility:
- Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Knowledge in market trends and business operations.
- Financial Advisor Intern
- Reference Number: DSBD/FAI/2023
- Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Basic understanding of financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
- Digital Marketing Specialist
- Reference Number: DSBD/DMS/2023
- Eligibility:
- Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies.
- Legal Affairs Intern

- Eligibility:
- LLB Degree.
- Interest in business law practices.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- IT & Systems Management Intern

- Understanding of database management and system infrastructures.
- Basic coding knowledge.
General Eligibility for All Posts:
- South African citizen.
- Aged 18–35 years.
- Not employed in a similar capacity.
