The Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) is inviting applications [1] for various undergraduate opportunities in fields like arts and culture, human resource development, supply chain management, infrastructure, performing arts, heritage, recreation, administrative support, and library assistance. These opportunities are open to candidates who are passionate about contributing to the development of the Limpopo region. Women and people with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.

Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) Undergraduate Recruitment Eligibility

To be eligible for these opportunities, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Arts and Culture (Ref: DSAC 2023/08):
    • Degree or National Diploma in Culture and Heritage Studies, Bachelor of Heritage and Culture Science, Bachelor of Social Science in Heritage and Cultural Science, or Arts and Culture-related fields.
  2. Human Resource Development (Ref: DSAC 2023/09):
    • Degree or National Diploma in Management of Training, Human Resource Development/Management.
  3. Supply Chain Management (Ref: DSAC 2023/10):
    • Degree/National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Finance-related fields.
  4. Infrastructure:
    • Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) as recognized by SAQA in Built Environment/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveyor.
    • 05 years of experience at middle/senior managerial level in Built Environment/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveyor.
    • Valid driver’s license (exception for persons with disabilities).
  5. Performing Arts:
    • Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Performing Arts.
    • 03-05 years in Junior Management/Assistant Director within the Arts and Culture sector.
    • Valid driver’s license (exception for persons with disabilities).
  6. Heritage:
    • Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Museums and heritage.
    • 03-05 years in Junior Management/Assistant Director within the heritage sector.
    • Valid driver’s license (exception for persons with disabilities).
  7. Recreation:
    • Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Sport Management/Sport Administration/Sport Science/Physical Education/Human Movement Studies/Biokinetics.
    • 03-05 years in Junior Management/Assistant Director within the sport/recreation sector.
    • Valid driver’s license (exception for persons with disabilities).
  8. Administrative Support:
    • Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) as recognized by SAQA in Public Management/Administration/Management/Human Resources Management.
    • 05 years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at a supervisory level (ASD).
    • Valid driver’s license (attach copy).
  9. Library Assistant x19:
    • NQF Level 4/Grade 12 or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution of Basic Education.
  10. General Worker:
    • Must have a Grade 12/National Certificate or NQF level 4 qualification.
    • Must have English (level 3).
    • Excellent verbal communication, reading, and writing skills.

Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) Undergraduate Recruitment Application Procedure
