We are pleased to announce that the 2024 EPWP SAPS internship is now open.
SAPS, DPWI, IDT, and SACGRA have initiated a commendable partnership aimed at offering unemployed youth valuable internship opportunities to gain workplace experience. This collaborative effort seeks to bridge the gap between education and employment by targeting graduates and students who have faced challenges entering the workforce.
EPWP SAPS Internship Eligibility
The programme is designed for:
- Graduates [unemployed] who have not been able to find employment after the completion of their studies.
- Students who have not been able to receive funding to complete their 18 months’ Work Integrated Learning.
- Students who were only contracted/funded for 12 months or less and could not complete the full period as required.
- Students whose funding was stopped due to pregnancy or have left the programme due to circumstances.
