SEKHUKHUNE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY FIRE FIGHTER LEARNERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 education
- Firefighter I course completion or an equivalent qualification
- Hazmat Awareness Certification
- First Aid Level 3 certification
- Successful completion of Medical Test (NFPA 1582)
- There is no history of criminal activity.
Experience:
- One year of relevant operational experience is necessary.
- Possession of a Code EB Driver’s Licence would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Skills, Knowledge, and Understanding:
- Familiarity with local government legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are imperative.
- Candidates should be able to handle stressful situations efficiently.
- Applicants should not suffer from claustrophobia or altophobia.
