We are pleased to announce that the application for the 2023/24 WHOLESALE & RETAIL SETA’s Retail Management Development Programme (RMDP) is now open.
Wholesale & Retail SETA (W&RSETA) presents an opportunity for wholesale and retail companies: the Retail Management Development Programme (RMDP) for the academic year 2024–24. The RMDP was devised to bridge the skills gap within the wholesale and retail sectors, specifically targeting middle managers, supervisors, and team leaders from historically disadvantaged backgrounds.
This initiative aligns with the Employment Equity Act, encouraging companies to prioritise African applicants, particularly women and people with disabilities. The goal is clear: to mould these individuals into competent managers by equipping them with the necessary skills.
