Requirements

• A letter of motivation in which you explain why you’d be a worthy bursary recipient.
• Detailed information about your course, subjects, and study programme.
• The name and address of the relevant higher education institution.
• Your letter of acceptance from the institution.
• A pro forma invoice from the institution, indicating the full registration, tuition, and examination fees, along with the course duration.
• Your academic transcripts for the previous 12 months of study.

Additional requirements for internal applicants

• Last performance rating of 3 or above.
• There are no valid warnings.
• Strong and consistent attendance.
• The team and family who have already completed their first year of studies successfully will be given preference.
• The qualification must be connected directly to the current or mutually agreed-upon career path that is applicable to the company.
• In the motivation letter, please elaborate on the relevance of the qualification.

Only bursary applications for the below qualifications and fields of study will be considered. Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Latest results > 60% if tertiary/higher institution (if applicable).
• Duration of the course: 12 months or longer.
• Types of qualifications: national certificates, diplomas, degrees, and post-graduate studies.
• Field of Study: Information Technology and Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, System and Network Administration, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or relevant to your current role.
• Preference will be given to applicants already residing in the same location as the institution being applied to.

This bursary application is for funding for the 2024–2025 academic year only. Subsequent funding for additional academic years will need to be applied for and approved when the bursary applications for those academic years open.
