Eastcape Midlands College (EMC) is inviting youth to apply for the learnership and skills programmes. Youth must be currently unemployed and not studying towards another qualification; they must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

The 12-month programme will offer a theoretical element aligned to a learnership programme and practical on-site work experience to improve the skills and workplace performance of entry-level learners. It provides foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, computers, and basic business principles.

The learnership uses a fully integrated approach that combines theory with practical training and leads to a recognised qualification or certification.

EASTCAPE MIDLANDS COLLEGE (EMC) LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be unemployed.
  • You must be interested in applying for an internship programme, and you must have completed the following:
    •  Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management
    •  Diploma in Financial Management
  • Only learners who reside in the Kariega (Uitenhage) and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) areas can apply.
