CoJ Transport Internships 2021 | How to Apply

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Transport Department has the following Internship opportunities available for a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months

The details are as follows:

• Department: Transport
• Branch: Scheduled Service Promotions
• Designation: Service Promotion Interns
• Salary Range: R8 329.27 pm (cost to company, basic salary, no benefits) Completed qualification, with at least 360 credits OR
• Salary Range: R3 500.00 pm (cost to company, basic salary, no benefits) must be enrolled as student.

Appointment Requirements:

• Matric plus a National Diploma in Marketing / Public Relations/ Communication/ Transport / Design and Layout or related tertiary qualification registered at SAQA 6 with at least 360 credits; OR Matric plus enrolled for a Certificate/Diploma in Marketing / Public Relations/ Communication/ Transport / Design and Layout or related tertiary qualification registered at SAQA level 5 with an enrolment letter at current tertiary institution;
• Confirmation letter from institution;
• Computer literacy Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Ages between 18 – 35 years; and
• Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.

Primary Function:

• Interact with customers at Walk- in Centres to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concern and request about products and services.

Key Learning Areas:

• Assist in the administration work for service promotions. Create a positive brand image of Rea Vaya product and services. Participate in Rea Vaya and Transport related activations.

Leading Competencies:

• Client Orientation Approach. Work under pressure. Ability to work with numbers
