Application for the HG Molenaar Technician Learnership – 2021 Entry is now open for interested applicants by the HG Molenaar in South Africa.

HG Molenaar invites all interested applicants to apply for the Technician Learnership Programme 2021. The 48-month programme will offer a theoretical element aligned to a Learnership programme and practical on-site work experience to improve the skills and workplace performance of entry-level learners. It provides foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, computer and basic business principles. 

A learnership position within our Videojet business. The position is available at both our East Rand Johannesburg and Paarl offices, respectively. The successful candidates will be trained as technicians who will ultimately be responsible for all the technical aspects of maintaining and installing industrial coding and labelling equipment for batch & date coding onto FMCG goods and related machinery.

The HG Molenaar Technician Learnership uses a fully integrated approach that combines theory with practical training and leads to a recognized qualification/certification.

HG MOLENAAR TECHNICIAN LEARNERSHIP ROLES, APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

They must have:

  • Minimum qualification: Matric
  • While not a requirement a marketing or similar qualification would be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years post-school work experience
  • A candidate who is currently busy with part-time studies in sales, marketing or business management, could be an advantage
  • A proven interest in and aptitude for sales
  • A professional manner, well presented, with excellent communication skills and confident to engage with people
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (both written and spoken)
  • Strong computer skills – proficient in Excel & Word
  • Driver’s license
  • Able to travel
  • Willing to relocate to wherever a suitable position within the Videojet is available
