SAPPI IT SECURITY GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Sappi Southern Africa requires (2) IT Security Interns to provide the incumbents with the necessary skills and specific competencies in his/her field of discipline on a 12 months contract.
This role reports to the Global Security Manager.
The main responsibilities of this job are:
- Exposure to our Cyber Skills Incubator and while learning will conduct the following security activities:
- Monitoring and response of user-reported phishing emails
- Checking malicious links and files
- Monitoring of global risky sign-in behaviour and logging calls for action
- Monitoring of endpoint anti-virus compliance
- Monitoring of OS versions and patch compliance
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Science and Engineering (BSc Eng) in Industrial Engineering or Information Security Technology degree or an Information Technology degree with a focus in cyber security.
- Graduates that have certified or are studying towards the following will have an added advantage:
- CompTIA Security +
- SSCP Systems Security Certified Practitioner
- Certified Ethical hacker
- No experienced required
