South African Police Service (SAPS) is offering an Internship opportunity to unemployed and prospective graduates to apply in the fields that are in line with the Corporation’s core business. The Corporation is therefore inviting applications for the South African Police Service (SAPS) SASSETA Graduate Internship Programme that runs for a maximum period of 12 months in the following disciplines/fields of study.

The best student on the course receives an accolade for performing well academically,  and for excelling in all areas of the training. By portraying a positive attitude, this student contributes to enhancing the image of South African Police Service (SAPS).

The South African Police Service (SAPS) SASSETA Graduate Internship Programme uses a fully integrated approach that combines theory with practical training and leads to a recognized qualification/certification.

This internship opportunity is situated at the following locations in South Africa:

  • Pretoria (Gauteng)

SAPS SASSETA GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Must be within the age of 18 and 35.
  • Must be in possession of National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NCV L4)
  • Must have no previous criminal conviction(s) or case(s) pending
  • Applicants must be unemployed, never employed in field of the advertised post and never participated in an internship programme in the relevant to the field of the post
  • Applicants must be residents of the Provinces where the post is advertised
  • Applicants are restricted to apply for only three (3) positions (complete separate application form for each post reference number)
  • Graduate Intern: Tertiary Qualification is required
